You'll come out to the Atlantic coast using the road passing by Madden Dam. Madden Dam was built in 1935 and is located in the Chagres River approximately 12 miles from the Panama Canal and 25 miles from the city of Panama.
The dams are used for storage and flow control rain in the area of the watershed, which is what provides the water needed for daily traffic of about 35 ships through the Panama Canal.
You arrive to Fort San Lorenzo which is one of the oldest Spanish fortresses in America. Visit the fort about 30 minutes, then we will go to Fort Sherman which was one of the American military bases in Panama.
Here you can have lunch. And you will come back riding by the Amador Causeway before reaching the hotel. The Amador Causeway is conformed by islands that were once one of the favourite anchorages of Spanish galleons arrived in Panama City with treasures snatched from the Inca empire. In 1913, these islands became part of Fort Grant, which was used to defend the Panama Canal entrance against possible attacks from Germany or Japan. The armed forces of the United States built the road linking the three islands using rocks excavation Panama Canal. There is an ancient secret tunnel (post military command) dug deep into the rock of the island Flemish. The Amador Causeway consists of a road from the mainland that joins four small islands together in the Bay of Panama: Naos, Culebra, Perico and Flamenco Island.

Dia 3 Chitre - Boquete - 300

This day you will leave Panama City and take the Interamerican Highway that crosses Central America. You will drive about 4 hours to the city of Santiago de Veraguas for lunch. Go on along the road and enter the province of Chiriqui.
Chiriqui means "Valley of the Moon" for indigenous NgäbeBuglé. Chiriqui is the last province of Panama before reaching Costa Rica. Here we reach the town of Boquete, a small typically Panamanian valley of about 20,000 inhabitants, located in the highlands of western Panama in the Chiriqui province. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and crossed by a river of crystalline waters. The climate is considered nearly perfect and because of this Boquete has earned the nickname "Valley of Eternal Spring". Here you will check in and we recommend a visit to a private botanical garden, also home to the Gonzalez family, but it is very well known as "My Garden is Your Garden". A walk through this beautiful place hits visitors.

Dia 4 Boquete - Província de Bocas del Toro - 220

You will ride to Bocas del Toro Province, to Almirante, from where you will reach the main village by fast boat. It is difficult to express in a few words the wonders that one can see when geting to the Bocas del Toro Archipelago. They are few places in the world to enjoy such fabulous seductive beaches, special and awesome atmosphere. Bocas del Toro gets special attention also due to its forests, biodiversity and particular caribbean customs.

Day off. In this day you can take different alternatives of tours around the islands of Bocas del Toro. These islands are Caribbean paradise and its various landscapes are spectacular with a mixture of Panamanian Caribbean.

Dia 6 Província de Bocas del Toro - Santiago - 340

You'll pass through the mountains that will take you to the road Interamericana where will go to a hotel by the Pacific shore an hour and a half from the city of Panama.

Dia 7 Santiago - Ciutat de Panamà - 260

Will take advantage this day at the hotel and go forth after noon to Panama City, where the bikes will be returned.
