Motorcycle dual-purpose and Adventure Himalaya adventure

Dag 1 Spain - New Delhi

Departure from Madrid airport towards New Delhi. Approximately 11 flight hours.

Dag 2 Kullu - 490

Arrival at New Delhi airport about 01: 15h in the morning.

Connecting flight New Delhi - Kullu departing on 06: 30h.

Arrival in Kullu at 08: 05h and transfer to the hotel to rest.

After lunch we will have the first contact with our Royal Enfield and talk about driving in India.

Dag 3 Kullu - Rampur - 500

Kullu woke up early to leave early and avoid the unbearable traffic in this city.

Always we continue along good road along the river, the first part of the route will be mountain road, crossing many villages, some of them among pine forests to reach Luhri, where the road improvement to reach the hotel.

Dag 4 Rampur - Nako - 390

The road from Shimla to Rekong Peo has a lot of traffic for several km, although this will soon forget us because we started to enjoy driving on the road between mountains.

Our first major port of this experience will rise to Sangla in a valley surrounded by mountains over 4,000 m. After enjoying this spectacular rise without reaching the village we will go to Rekong Peo where we need to get a permit to cross a restricted area while we process the permit will eat something and then go to Nako, road runs through a large canyon, ending rising to Nako, a village located at 3,700 m. We take the opportunity to sleep at this altitude and so go acclimatize to the altitude.

Dag 5 Nako - Kaza - 110

According to abandon Nako started a small rise of about 5 km and then descend down a hill with spectacular views of the valley to Chango and take direction to Sumdo where the restricted zone ends. Detour to Tabo, which already appreciate the change of scenery as we ascend. We are gradually entering Spiti Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys of the Himalayas, to reach Kaza capital where we will spend two nights.

Dag 6 Kaza - Kaza

We are in the middle of the most spectacular Himalayan valley, Spiti Valley, that means we leave our luggage at the hotel Kaza and we will make a route through inhospitable slopes with cliffs that make us understand that we are running through one of the most dangerous routes of the world, but calmly will be a walk pure enjoyment.

One of these clues lead us to Komic, highest village in the world to 4,567 m.

Dag 7 Kaza - Chandra Taal - 200

We continue our adventure without knowing what we will find natural obstacles on the road today. After the beauty seen the previous days, probably the most beautiful routes we've ever done, could that are difficult to overcome, but no. We enter the heart of Spiti Valley and we realize that what we thought insurmountable becomes overcome by the incredible beauty of the valleys and glaciers that we are in this unforgettable route.

Overnight in camp.

Dag 8 Chandra Taal - Keylong - 250

Another day we start with the uncertainty of not knowing exactly what we find on the road, as it is easy to thaw has created waterfalls that flood partial areas of the track, where surely need the help of each other to go saving these obstacles posed by nature. We can reach places that make us think "we are here" but not with the work of team we will overcome and we will see that our limits are further away than we thought, all within an environment of such beauty, we will think that we were never in such a brutally beautiful place, and so out of Spiti Valley and reach a good road lengthens to the river, You enjoying glaciers around us and seeing how the valley opens up and allows us to enjoy a quiet ride between two parallel mountain ridges that continue to amaze us by its beauty. Very little we reach our goal of the day: Keylong.

Dag 9 Keylong - Sarchu - 110

At 08: 30h out with a good asphalt road that will allow us to enjoy driving our Royal Enfield. Reaching the village of Zing Zing Bar we announced we started the path that leads to high altitude ports, the first and after a big zigzag incredible curves we will crown Baralacha La at 4,890 meters above sea level. We continue with small ports up and down between areas of asphalt and track but always rolling over the 4,000 meters to reach Sarchu camp at 4,200 meters above sea level where we will sleep.

Overnight in camp.

Dag 10 Sarchu - Leh - 350

At 08: 00h start our course Leh stage, combining track and asphalt to ascend to 5,059 meters above sea level La Lachulung. Descend to a beautiful gorge that leads to Pang, from there in a very short climb we got to a plane which will ride about 60 km, not without stopping to take some pictures before the beauty of the surroundings. Our next port will be Taglang to 5,328 masl The second highest pass in the world, a decline of pure enjoyment for any rider. New valleys we open the doors to access Leh, a city located at 3,650 meters above sea level, which was the ancient capital of the kingdom of Ladakh in the Himalayas.

Dag 11 Leh - Khardung La - 100

At 09: 00h we prepare the bikes for promotion to Khardung La. 60 km of curves and more curves with beautiful landscapes that will anticipate the experience that awaits us after hour and peak climbing reach Khardung La, at 5,600 meters above sea level, highest step traveled the world. We stop our descent to visit the ruins of the Palace of Leh and to see from there the beauty of this valley.

Dag 12 Leh - New Delhi

Between 6: 00h and 10: 00h are flights Leh - New Delhi with 1: 30h duration

Surely this flight is of the most spectacular we can have in our lives, for their views to the mountains of the Himalayas.

(For those who want to visit the Taj Mahal you can hire a taxi at the airport waiting for that will take you directly to Agra and then bring them back to the hotel)

Dag 13 New Delhi - New Delhi

Free day to visit New Delhi.

Optionally you can hire a tour to visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk market, Raj Ghat, etc.

The room will be available until 12.00 then stay a room to shower or wash up before going to the airport.

Dag 14 New Delhi - Spain

Return flight Delhi to Madrid
