This snowmobile trip between Finland and Norway is not really an expedition for experienced riders. For more than 700 kilometers we will fly through virgin territories never before explored, we will cross the largest lake in Finland, forests, natural parks and frozen tundras.
It is a trip for two groups of 6 adventurers each, the first one from north to south, departing from the Ruuka winter resort in Finland and arriving at Irkimini in North Norruega, right in the Arctic Ocean.
The second group will make the trip in the opposite direction.
90% of the route will be made on tracks with virgin snow, for this we have new, more powerful motorcycles than the usual ones specially prepared for this adventure where we leave nothing to chance.
We will be followed by a third support vehicle that travels by road with our luggage platform for four snowmobiles, two spare bikes and space for two more bikes in case any pilot is not in a position to continue the trip. We will find our luggage directly in our room.
Itinerário
Dia 1 Kuusamo - Ruka - 0 km
We fly to Kussamo, where we will be picked up to take us to the Oivanki cabin complex. Dinner included.
During dinner our guide will give us a briefing of all the material and safety equipment that we will use during this tour.
You will find everything ready in your cabin, a brief introduction to snowmobiles, as well as a review of the planning we have planned. Accommodation in a double room in a traditional wooden cabin in the middle of the forest.
Dia 2 Savukoski - 150 km
This morning we will have breakfast in the restaurant of the cabin complex. The motorcycles will be waiting for us outside our cabin to start our adventure. We will leave for the old town of Savukoski. Along the way we will make several stops to rest and enjoy the delicious gastronomy that Lapland has to offer. Night in a guest house (Wilderness Hotel Samperi) in a double room.
Dia 3 Savukoski - Saariselkä - 200 km
Today we wake up early and after breakfast we get back on our motorcycles to continue with the established route, today we will cross large lakes and snow-covered forests. Lunch during the tour. Accommodation in shared cabin in double rooms.

Dia 4 Saariselkä - Lago Inari - 200 km
After breakfast, this day we have to go up to the Finnish tundra. Lunch in the desert in Nellim. Today we can enjoy riding our snowmobiles through the largest lake in Finnish Lapland Inarijärvi. Accommodation in Holiday Village Inari cabins for 2 People

Dia 5 Lago Inari - Kirkenes - 120 km
Today will be special, as we will cross the border between Finland and Norway, we head towards the top of the mountains in Neiden. Lunch at Neiden Mountain Inn. Today will also have an incentive, and that is that we will go fishing for king crabs.
Cultural and historical guided tour in Langfjord.

Dia 6 Kirkenes - Kirkenes - 80 km
Today is our last snowmobile day so we have to enjoy it to the fullest ... Today's tour will be around Kirkeness to explore the Norwegian tundra.
Dia 7 Kirkenes - Oslo - 0 km
We say goodbye, we hope you enjoyed the adventure ... Depending on what time the flight leaves, we will take you to Kirkeness airport.
