As for the roads, most are in good condition, they are two-way and with one lane in each direction. Within urban areas the maximum speed allowed is 60 km/h and outside of them 80 km/h. It is very common to find police checkpoints, although most of the time they stop you to exchange a few words. By law, the driver must wear a helmet, but the passenger does not. However, we recommend that everyone wear a helmet.

You will have to get lost in the labyrinth of the Kasbah of the Oudayas, which will transport you to a city totally different from Rabat. The old medina of the city will allow you to haggle in the shops and observe the kilometer-long walls that surround it. The new city, the Catholic cathedral, the Bou Regreg river, the Temara beach, the Chellah necropolis and the Andalusian Gardens are other essential places to visit.
