Have you always wanted to do the North Cape route, but don't have time? We make it easy for you.
This route starts from one of the most famous ski resorts in Finland (Levi). The route goes directly to the Norwegian border and continues to the North Cape. From where we will go down to Lake Inari in western Lapland, to the other famous Saariselkä ski resort and from here, back to Levi.
We will travel about 1500 km through the most beautiful routes over the Arctic Circle!
We offer this tour in 2 ways; For lovers of dirt tracks, we have an option with around 60-70% dirt routes and the other option is only on asphalt. (We will explain the asphalt route, but if you want to do the mixed route, you just have to tell us.)
In the paved version, we stayed in Honningsvåg for two nights, 30 km from the North Cape. Then we spend more time in North Cape and we will shoot around Margerøya Island, where other activities are also possible. For example, try to catch king crabs with a beautiful boat tour! In the asphalt version after the night in Inari, on the last day we drive directly to our base. On the gravel version, we only stayed one night in Honningsvåg and we are going to enjoy a fantastic loop to the east of Lapland and from there to Saariselkä with approximately 250 km more of piloting!
Tours always start on Monday and end on Friday.
We recommend spending more days in fantastic Lapland before or after the tour. The nearest airport is Kittilä (20 km), where there are only a few flights each day.
Another possibility is to fly from Rovaniemi, where there are many more flights and many things to see. Rovaniemi is the capital of Lapland, where the home of Santa Claus is located in the heart of the Arctic Circle. (It is worth the visit!)

Dag 1 Levi - Levi - 0
On Sunday we fly to Levi, from here we go to the concentration hotel where a welcome dinner and information for the riders awaits us.
Dag 2 Alta - 280
Early Monday breakfast and taxi to our base to check and adapt motorcycles. The tour begins at 10 a.m., directly north and towards the Norwegian border. Then the route continues from the border towards the northwest towards the city of Alta, following the old post road with incredible landscapes. Arriving at the hotel in Alta around 6 p.m., after approx. 280km of route.
Dag 3 Alta - Honningsvåg - 360
On Tuesday after a good breakfast we headed to North Cape. After several stops we reached the village of Olderfjord to eat something. After lunch we head straight north, towards the island of Margerøya and Nordkapp (North Cape).
The route runs close to the sea, with impressive views and after a long tunnel we arrive at Margerøya island. We arrived at the hotel in Honningsvåg village around 5pm, after approx. 300 km of route.
Dag 4 Honningsvåg - Inari - 350
On Wednesday after breakfast, we will be back on the road at 9 a.m. towards Nordkapp, in less than an hour, we reached Nordkapp, where we stayed around 2-3 h. Time to walk, see the museum and have a coffee, where to buy the typical souvenirs, etc.
For lunch we will go to the village of Gjesvær and after lunch, we can take a walk surrounded by this special atmosphere.
We will return to Honninsvåg around 4 p.m. Where we will look for a good time to better see this beautiful port town. Route approx. 100 km.
Dag 5 Inari - Saariselkä - 300
On Thursday after breakfast we will be back on the road at 9 a.m. towards Lake Inari in Finland. The first 100 km of the road follow the same route as the day before. The next lunch break will be in Porsanger after 170 km. After lunch, we head south towards Finland and up to Inari. Arrival at the hotel around 5 p.m., after approx. 350 km of route.
Dag 6 Saariselkä - Levi - 250
On Friday we will ride southwest back to Levi following beautiful routes in the heart of Lapland, enjoying the typical "Makkara" (Local Sausage) made with firewood, and then climb Mount Pallas and head to our base of operations, our Arrival will be around 4 pm after approx. 250 km.
It is time for a real Finnish sauna and a final party dinner, enjoying salmon cooked over a wood fire and the occasional traditional meal. Return by taxi to Levi's accommodation (whenever you want)!
Dag 7 Levi - Levi - 0
On Saturday the tour is over and it's time to go home, or spend a few extra days in beautiful Lapland (highly recommended)!
